Having stayed here I would recommend the Accome Hotel, but i don't know how central it is to all the main attractions in Malmo. We stayed here only for one night so we didn't get much chance to see much of Malmo.
I booked an apartment in this excellent hotel so that 3 of us could share a room. The building formed part of a large chocolate factory. As we arrived on a weekend, I was emailed an access code for the main door and a second code for a mailbox in the foyer. This contained three passcards and the location of our room.
Passcards are required to access all areas so it is important to keep them on you at all times, if you do loose one then you can get a replacement activated by speaking to the central office in Stockholm using the phone and PC in the foyer.
The apartments themselves are well laid out and the kitchenette has most items that you require to make simple meals (including a fridge, microwave & dishwasher). The bathrooms are a wetroom type so ensure that the underfloor heating is on to dry the place out. Our room had twin beds and a sofabed and all were comfortable. Overall the styling is very good.
The breakfast on offer was a good selection of food, buffet style and it is open until 1000. This can be included in the price of the room as it did with us or paid for as you use it.
Unique Quality: There is a sauna off the reception, free internet access in the foyer and broadband access within the rooms, kitchen and laundry facilities.
The hotel is within walking distance of the centre/railway station.
Directions: East of the city centre near the Hilton.
