Scandic Nyköping City: In the city center
I love Scandic hotels, the service is outstanding. They do evrything in their way to help you if you have a problem.
If theres a Scandic hotel where I´m going be sure I´m staying there. The best problem solvers and the nicest staff in Sweden.
Unique Quality: A well known restaurant the Voyage, free acsess to the jacuzzi. The best part is that the hotel is located on the shopping street.

Nyköping Hostel / vandrarhem: Castle view hostel
I have obviously not had the need to stay here so don't ask me what it's like but it has a good enough reputation and looks nice. There is a bus stop (Nyköpingshus) in the street outside. Catch bus 715 towards Oxelösund from Nyköping train station or the bus station. It's otherwise just a short walk from the main bus and coach station and walkable even from the train station, though not so comfortable with lots of luggage. In the other direction, 715 will sometimes take you as far as Skavsta airport and the Ryanair flights :-)
Unique Quality: The location couldn't be better, with Nyköping Castle nextdoor and close to the summertime very lively harbour.
