Alexandra: Alexandra - Good budget hotel on Södermalm    Check Rates

  • Alexandra is a good, but basic 3-star hotel situated in a largely residential area in the middle of Södermalm. It is clean, comfortable and functional. Quite adequate and acceptable, but rather bland and ordinary - there is little more that can be said about this hotel. The room was a reasonable size (for Scandinavia), and nicely furnished. The breakfast room is windowless and rather stuffy. The staff are efficient but not particularly welcoming.

    In short, don't stay here if you want a nice romantic weekend, but if all you need is somewhere safe, clean and comfortable to spend the night - this is fine. The rack rates are not that cheap, and there are much nicer hotels in Stockholm for a similar price, but if you can get a good deal through an on-line booking agency it is worth considering.

  • Directions: If you are coming from Central Station, it is best to get a suburban train to Stockholm Södra, turn right onto Swedenborgsgatan and walk two blocks to Magnus Ladulåsgatan. Turn left and the hotel is on the other side of the street.

    Pleasent stay, this Hotel is centaly located.

    The hotel is centrally located on the south side of the island, in a quiet neighbourhood in Sodermalm. It is a modern building, with light green coloured brickwork and a small canopy entrance.
