Or you could take a taxi from the airport.

I think you can book Taxi Stockholm online so that they can wait for you at the arrivals hall (www.taxistockholm.se, the booking part is only in Swedish but Google Translate can help you out or you can e-mail them). A taxi should charge between 450 and 500 SEK (abotu 45 to 50 Euros).

Travel Tips for Stockholm

Surprise!

by Sharrie

Walking around the city & exploring. Here, I found something familiar from back home. The country's airline city office is located on this street! Well, it's not the best airline in the world but it's still from home. So, while I was alone in a foreign land, I felt comforted :-) & surprise.

Beatiful narrow roads..

by Erkmen

While walking in gamla stan you can see many small roads, still surrounded with shops and walking in a lovely environment..

Swedes keep gamla stan quiet clean, if you look at the picture not even a dust can be seen..

THE CINEMA IS LOCATED IN SÖDERMALM, TAKE THE TUNNELBANA (SUBWAY/METRO) TO MEDBORGARPLATSEN AND THEN YOU GO FOR ABOUT 200 METERS.

1833 - 1896 Alfred Bernhard Nobel

by sim1

The history of Stockholm
~~~~~~
Alfred Bernhard Nobel
Alfred Nobel 1833-1896 was an inventor and entrepreneur. He invented in 1866 the dynamite (that is nitro-glycerine packaged in mineral making it less sensible for hits). Dynamite has become very important for the mining industry and it is also much in use in the building of roads and railroads. The Nobel enterprise grew very fast and with more than 90 factories in many countries Nobel became rich.
Alfred Nobel was a pacifist and he was also opposed against the right of heritage. So instead of leaving his money to his family, he donated all his fortune to charity and a foundation. This foundation, "Nobel Committee", should yearly reward those who have contributed most to the welfare of mankind. The value of the Nobel prize was initially set to 100 years of a normal workers salary.
In 1901 the first receivers of the prize were elected. The original Nobel prize categories are: Physics, Chemistry, Medicine, Literature and Peace. In 1969 the Swedish National Bank added an "Economic prize" in the memory of Nobel.
