    City lodge

The stay wasn't bad at all given that our only criteria before leaving was as cheap as possible, other groups were there so we had some fun with them, recommended for groups that are only looking for the cheapest, regardless of quality. Very well situated, two streets from the main railway station

    The most central hostel is...

I loved this place. The staff was very friendly and helpful, though I didn't like that they turned the computers off after 11 pm. Being frank to the end I should say that it all depended on a person who was in charge this evening. Another strange thing was that none of the staff stayed inside after 11 pm. You were supposed to take your shoes off at the entrance. You can have a very nice breakfast for an extrapay, and there's a washing machine and a tumble dryer as well. By the way the staff was helpful even before my coming, so feel free to ask anything by e-mail. Also I should note there was everything needed at the kitchen, but they had only a microwave oven, as they said otherwise the building could go on fire. Anyway there are a lot of little bars around and also some shops (Hemköp), with a great choice of yummy färdig mat. The lounge room is very cosy and typical Swedish.:oD It's a lovely place and you will meet a lot of funny people there.:oD Have a nice stay!:o)

Unique Quality: I think this hostel really is the most central in Stockholm.:o) It's about 2 min walk from Drottninggatan, and from there you can go to Gamla Stan any time you want, and to the king's palace. You can see the guard mount as often as you like.;o) Actually this hostel is very close to everything. It's very convenient if you visit Stockholm for the first time in your life. You won't get lost, and you can see some funny demonstrations from time to time in the centre.:o) Check their website, it's worth it. It was renovated. When I went there in February, they had another one.:oP

Directions: 5 min walk from the Central Station
