Arlanda Airport...ATM location?

by ddschur

We will be arriving ARN in August and was wondering whether there are any ATM's easily accessible to get Swedish currency?

I would rather use a bank atm vs. some currency exchange outfit.

Thank you in advance for any help/advice you can provide.

There are ATM:s (here called Bankomat) at terminals 2, 4, and 5 and in Sky City (between terminals 4 and 5). Here's a picture of where the ATM machines are: http://www.arlanda.se/sv/Information--tjanster-till/Resenar/Shopping-mat-och-service/Service/?sortOrder=&objektID=4&name=Bankomater (site in Swedish but you'll get the idea).

There's also 2 banks in Sky City: SEB (http://www.arlanda.se/sv/Information--tjanster-till/Resenar/Shopping-mat-och-service/Service/?sortOrder=&objektID=3&name=Bank: SEB) and Handelsbanken (http://www.arlanda.se/sv/Information--tjanster-till/Resenar/Shopping-mat-och-service/Service/?sortOrder=&objektID=2&name=Bank: Handelsbanken).

Travel Tips for Stockholm

Stockholm is one of the coziest capitals...

by Jim70563

I love the fact that I feel like I am in a small city, no matter where I am. The people are not in a rush. The car drivers are for the most part polite. You can walk along a harbor, see museums, walk in narrow cobblestoned streets, climb the Stadhuset tower, take a boat ride, eat a picnic...all within a mile of Gamla Stan.

Perfect city for walks with your family.

Public Parks and Gardens

by emilienoelle

Among the things that I loved about Stockholm were its many public parks and gardens. These were meticulously maintained and gorgeous--all of them. They all had public caf?s and restrooms for people to use, and they were all packed with people walking and relaxing and spending time with their families. It's amazing how such a simple thing can make such an impression. If you have time when you're in Stockholm go to a park and have a coffee in one of their caf?s. It will make you really feel like you're on vacation--even if you're not.
