Jogerso Camping

A beautifully situated family camping ground by the sea, about 3 km. from the centre of OXELöSUND where we slept the night before we arrived in STOCKHOLM!!
Here are fine, sandy beaches and larged grass areas for children to play!

BOATS AND CANOES can be rented here for trips into the ARCHIPELAGO. For fishermen: FREE fishing for salmon, eel and herring.

You can stay in a tent, chalet or caravan.....

Gamla Oxelösund became a pilot station and was widely known as a harbour or sailing barges. The old inn, OXELöKROG is still in use for its orriginal purpose...

There are several old buildings that have been restored, such as MäSTERLOTSEN and GRANTORPET, the island museum which has been awarded a prize by the Swedish Ass. for Building Preservation.

WE ENJOYED THEIR HOME-MADE FOOD WITH A VIEW OVER THE SEA.......and the atmosphere on the whole town was wonderful......
