No, this one does not come cheap. But it is the perfect place for a romantic weekend in Stockholm. The location is in the Old Town, only steps from Stockholm Cathedral and with walking distance to everything.

We spent 7 nights at this hotel. Our room was on the very top floor. It was comfortable - but small. It was a little on the pricy side but I guess that is understandable considering its location (within one block of the palace). They had an excellent breakfast buffet.
Unique Quality: A suana and soaking pool is located in the basement.

Though I did not stay here, this hotel certainly aught my eye because of its excellent location. It is situatd right in old town very close to the Storkyrkan and the Royal Palace. From old town the rest of Stockholm (central city, odermalm, city hall, Kungsholmen) is all very accessible. If I go back to Stockholm I would definitely consider staying here.
Supposedly the building dates to the 15th century (though rooms have been updated!), and the hotel has alot of character!
I hear the rooms are tiny but that the breakfast is great and there is a great sauna for 10 people in the basement. There are alot of good reviews about the hotel.

It was so nice out on the day this was taken.
Here we are enjoying some french fries, well Miss M is anyway.
