Cheaper lodging
Basic Hotel is supposedly slightly cheaper than the ones I listed above. This is also centrally located in downdown Uppsala. It is an apartment hotel, and the rooms supposedly have cooking facilities.

Basic Hotel, in Kungsgatan. Their rooms are nice and clean, located in the centre of Uppsala, near to anywhere in Uppsala just by walking.
