If you're arriving by train from Stockholm and want to see Gamla Uppsala, TAKE THE BUS! I tried walking there and was on the highway going both directions before finally catching the local city bus. Gamla Uppsala is definitely worth a half day to soak in the place where Sweden really began.Walking through the city, I stumbled across a small stream flowing through the city. Luckily, the sun was playing peek-a-boo with the clouds and I snapped the main picture to my Uppsala page there.
