A great Hotel with a few quirks
I stay here every time I am in Umeå, and that happens approx. 10 times a year. I prefer to get a room with a balcony so I can enjoy the view of the river. Breakfast can be had in the breakfast room, or in your own room.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Umeå, if nothing else for it's unique character. It's over a century old, and all the rooms have their own unique solutions.
Unique Quality: This hotel doesn't have that many facilities, but a room with a 40sq.m. terrace is not bad, neither is the sauna.
