Lilla Hotellet: Homy and comfy
I stayed here twice in 1997. When driving from Finnmark in the North to Oslo in the South of Norway, the quickest way is via Sweden, and Vilhelmina is sort of half-way either way.
I found this small family-run hotel by chance. I was in desperate need for a sleep-over and rang the door bell 5 minutes after closing hours, but the owner was kind enough to return to let me in. Very friendly.
Unfortunately I don't remenber the room rates.
Quiet comfortable rooms and sumptious breakfast table.

Vilhelmina Camping: Nice campground
Once I was in Vilhelmina I stayed at the Vilhelmina Cmaping (as I was travelling with my tent). It was anice, clean camping, and not too overcrowded. There is a lake there and you can rent a canoe if you like too. There is also a small beach, intended mainly for children/families, but also a tower to jump from.
