Central budget hotel
I have only stayed here when it was called Ekoxen but then it was nice and today, it seems to have specialised in offering cheaper accommodation than most of its kind. Smack bang in the centre, just by the Central station, they offer SEK 500 rooms including breakfast. A deal which certainly doesn't grow on trees in Sweden.

In the city
One of Gothenburgs lowest prises. Is located in the central of the city with the Central Station (stops/starts for airport coaches and trains).
Unique Quality: Very good location.

Great city centre Hotel
Really lovely hotel right next to central station (about 2 mins walk so we discovered, the maps were misleading) tram/bus stops right outside building with Brunnssparken not far away and also right next to shopping centre.
Although you wouldn't think so considering how quiet it is. Very cheap also compared to other hotels in area, highly reccomended!

Nice but expensive
When arriving in Gotherburg we went to the Tourist office in Nordstan. The only place available it seemed was this hotel. A bit above the budget we set ourselves but if there wasnt anything else....
Unique Quality: The best thing about this hotel is its location. Across the trainstation and next to Nordstann. You couldnt be more city centered.
Breakfast which came included was very good too a wide variety of things.
