Bus service between Nils Ericsson Termin and Mölnlycke

by RobinJBell

What is the frequency of daytime busses between Nils Ericsson and Mölnlycke? When do they leave Nils Ericsson?

Re: Bus service between Nils Ericsson Termin and Mölnlycke

by marielexoteria

It looks like they leave every 15 minutes. I wasn't able to find a pdf timetable so I looked at their travel planner. Contact them for more accurate information: Västtrafik, www.vasttrafik.se.

Hope it helps.

There are very frequent buses between Nils Ericsson terminalen and Mölnlycke. But you have at least two different busroutes operating that line and also train so Västtrafiks homepage is a very good suggestion. You can use their travelplanner in your mobile in order to see it more easily.

Travel Tips for Göteborg

"STREET" ART

by hevbell

One thing I noticed while walking around Goteburg is that it is almost like a big outdoor art museum! Everywhere you look in the city centre there seems to staues, modern art sculptures etc dotted about - from the massive statue of Poseidon to small busts and more modern sculptures like this one near Norra Allegatan...

Architecture

by HORSCHECK

Goteborg has many interesting buildings constructed in various architectural styles. You can find buildings from the 17th century (e.g. Crown Fortlet) as well as modern buildings like the Opera House (1994). Many houses in the suburbs of Goteborg were built in functionalism style at the beginnig of the 20th century.
I really like the Neo-Gothic Main Train Station (Central station) which was completed in 1858. So always keep your eyes open when wandering around Goteborg.

Where to get wine & friends

by mauro_pd

Wine and alcoholic drinks are not available for purchasing in supermarket ... the only way to get them is to enter these shops: Systembolaget !!!
It could be crowded ... and therefore you can try to get some new friends while queueing at the cash.

Packing List

by Sjalen

Rain gear as it rains more here, closer to the Gulf stream, than on the Swedish East coast. It can also be windy so umbrella is not always the best... Plasters and disinfectant if you intend to swim in the rocky archipelago as it is easy to step on the hard 'shell-creatures' on the rocks and get a scratch. No problem with any of this in the city that invented the Hasselblad camera!

Roda Sten

by HORSCHECK

Roda Sten (Red Stone) is the name of an area which lies near the sea entrance to the city. Many locals come here for a walk along the seafront or just to enjoy the fresh sea breeze.

You can really find a big red painted stone in this area. Stories tell that the stone was coloured red from the blood of a Swedish officer who was killed by a Dane. Oh well, the Scandinavians don't seem to like each other ...:-)

Roda Stone is also the name of a building in this area, which is a sort of cultural project. Various exhibitions or even rock concerts take place here.

Directions:
Roda Sten is located near the Alvsborgsbron (see next tip). The nearest tram stop is "Vagnhallen Majorna". From there the short way to Roda Stone is well signposted.
