Good hotel near the Congress and Liseberg
I spent two night at the hotel. Used just my room and the breakfast. It is called Quality Hotel, but it is not very luxery as far as I have seen.
Unique Quality: A ten minutes walk to the Liseberg Amusement Park, Universeum, Congress hall (Mässen) and public transport crossroads.

A Decent Hotel
This was the Conference Hotel. It was relatively close to the University campus - about a ten minute walk to most of the conference meeting rooms.
