HOSTEL

One of the freindliest hostels I've stayed at! A lot of times I find people tend to stick to their travel buddies [or maybe I'm just to shy in approaching people] but I found everyone spoke to each other here. The kitchen/dining and TV area area all together & quite compact so maybe that made it more sociable.

The room was spacious enough and everything was very clean. In Swedish hostels apparently they often charge a cleaning fee & this was the case here. You clean your room when you leave or pay them to do it for you. Breakfast was also extra - 40 SEK but I just went to the 7-11 up the road for something.

Unique Quality: There was an outside area that I think would have been great in summer. Its located within about 15 mins walk of the city centre. I walked it myself and it didn't seem to take as long as I had thought it would going by tram which was strange!

It is VERY close to a tram stop though with 3 lines running through so never a long wait. There is a handy 7-11 100 yds up the road, a supermarket and various other shops. The maritime museum is close by and its just below Masthuggskyrkan.

I'd definitely recommend it to anyone.
