Who will adopt these handsome men?

We will be in Apenzell in a few weeks and plan on taking the cable car up Mt Santis. Should we purchase tickets in advance? Is there a best time to go? I presume warm clothes will be necessary! Any advise?
No need for advance booking.Clothes? Right now, you will need warm clothes, as temperatures are only just above freezing point, with snowwfall (which is noit frquent in summer, but it still happens).
Buying cable-car tickets in advance does not make any sense (I assume it won't be possible anyway) because you will want to check the weather and choose a clear sunny day to go up.
The Säntis is not that high. It may even be warm enough in a t-shirt if you are lucky but I'd take a windbreaking jacket and a sweater.
I do not need to show you any cows or cheeses, but I have to warn you that as you wander around on the mountain top, you may see some cow bells, oh yes in the shop, of course, but these two are almost bigger than you. So be warned, do not bump into them they might start the mountain rocking around.
Or at the least give you a big headache.
