Views from top looking down.
A visit to a mountain top is not for everyone, some cannot accept the tram ride, some dare not look down when they get to the top. Others find the air too thin.
To others it is like moving into another world, one where the views are almost out of this world, or it is a challenge to reach that elevation.
Who knows why we strive to get to the top.
To me the views are simply magnificent, impressive and sometimes outstanding.
The next 5 photos, include a view to the north, it is possible to make out St Gallen, then further north Lake Constance or the Bodensee, and even into Germany.
The other 3 are looking down from the summit, showing some of the roads and paths used to reach the top, by Hikers and Cimbers.
The final photo looks to the northwest, almost into the sun, it was in the afternoon, but shows
a general view towards Luzern and Pilatus mountain and even as far as Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau. In the foreground is Zuericher See, then not really visible, the Vierwaldstattersee, Lake Luzern.

Bright lights are seen if you hit these bells.
Viewed from afar, yes we are on top of Saentis.
One old church alongside the Tourist office.
