I did not stay in this hotel, but I really enjoyed the interesting architecture of this building very much and so I took these photos of it.
Unique Quality: This great hotel is in the very centre of the town of Appenzell.

Dont miss to take a closer look at this funny work of art next to the church: there is a table and 2 chairs and from time to time water is pressed through some of the feet of the chair and will raise it up at one side by the water-pressure and move back again slowly step by step.
Enlarge my other photos as well and you will see the table moving and finally, in my last photo, the table standing there again innocently like nothing had happened...
