Hotel Roessli in Unterseen: a nice family hotel

Hotel Roessli / Rössli is a rather small hotel, off the centre of Interlaken but within a walking distance of 10 minutes from Interlaken-West-station and in a really quiet area without a lot of car-trafic. From some of the rooms you may even see the famous "Jungfrau-Blick"

Unique Quality: This small hotel is a good choice when you arrive by car, as they have their own parking, and when you arrive by train, it is just 10 minutes to walk from the station Interlaken West.

Minotel Beau-Site: a great traditional family hotel

Hotel Beau Site is a great Hotel, in Interlaken/Unterseen, a quiet area off the centre, north of the river Aare.

Unique Quality: This hotel is a good choice, when you arrive by car and intend to make your excursions with that car, as they have a big parking at the hotel.

Walkingtime to the train-station Interlaken West and the centre of town is about 20 minutes.

Hotel Weisses Kreuz: a great traditional & centrally located hotel

Hotel Weisses Kreuz is located in the very centre of Interlaken, about 400 meters from the trainstation Interlaken West.

Unique Quality: Hotel Weisses Kreuz has a great restaurant, but I am not sure about the parking-facilities for a private car.

Weisses Kreuz is a great place to taste local specialities as :

Buendner Teller ( air-dried fillet of beaf )
Hobelkaese ( a great hard cheese )
Zuericher Geschnetzeltes
Fondue Bourgignone
and Cheese Fondue of course !

Grand Hotel - Victoria-Jungfrau: Certainly the best - IF you may afford it

Grand Hotel Jungfrau Victoria is THE place to live for people who care for a perfect room and excellent service, without having to care as well for the price....

They have an indoor-pool, wellness-area, garage, several restaurants, all set up perfectely with cloth-napkins and prices twice as high as usual

Unique Quality: All of the rooms face the famous Hoehematte, a meadow with the best "Jungfrau-blick" ,( the view on the Jungfrau).

This meadow was bought by the 1st owner of the hotel and given as a donation to the village of Interlaken in the 19th century , with the demand to leave it like it was.

Top Hotel Metropole: a great hotel BUT also an ugly skyskraper

Hotel Metropole is easily to be found, simply as it is the only sky-scraper in Interlaken.
A monster of more than 15 floors, next to the famous "Grand Hotel Jungfrau Viktoria" and opposite the great restaurant & cafe "Schuh" on Hoehematte.

Unique Quality: Once that you do not care for the bad, modern architecture, you will find out, it is a great hotel with a perfect view on the mountains, in the very best location in Interlaken, about halfway between both trainstations Interlaken Ost and West.

Search for special deals - they offer rather cheap rates out of season, as they have a lot of rooms to fill.

A big parking is close to the hotel.
