Swiss hostels are expensive
The YHA in Fribourg is centrally situated in a long, white building. I think I paid around 36 CHF, which included a good breakfast. Switzerland is expensive, even a dorm bed. The hostel has a small kitchen as well, but it's small and smells a bit dodgy. I stayed there in September, and one of the nights I was the only one in the whole hostel... But occasionally school classes and backpackers entered the hostel. The manager is nice and friendly, and you can buy dinner in the evening.
