5 minutes walk?
Sawasdee ka,
I'm going to Geneva myself on 19th June for work. I'll stay at Hotel Epsom Manotel Rue de Richemont 18. They said only 5 minutes walk from train station!. I looked at the map and wondered which road I should take from Airport-Train Station to my hotel, as it seemed too far from the Airport, I don't think it talks only 5 or even 10 minutes walking.
Sorry for stupid question but I'm very bad in direction and thought it's complicated to walk through. If you have any better walkway-direction, I do appreciate.
I'll have free time after 5pm. on 20th June and daytime of 21st June before my flight departure at 6pm.on 21st June back to Bangkok via Zurich.
It must be good if I meet Geneva VTers who be kind to show me around Lac Leman or maybe just for a cup of coffee. At first I'd like to post for Geneva Meeting but it seems very official meeting.So if you don't mind to meet a Thai from Bangkok, please leave a note. I'll mail you as soon as possible.
I'll leave Thailand on 8thJune to Ireland, afterthat head for Geneva.Hope to get arrange everthings before 8th June.

You have to take the train from the airport to Cornavin Station, see http://www.airwise.com/airports/europe/GVA/GVAtran1.html.
It's then only about 5 minutes walk from there, up the rue de Lausanne - click on "location" at the bottom of the list on the left on here http://www.manotel.com/epsom/ and you can see the respective positions of Cornavin Station and Hotel Epsom (no. 2 on the map).

There are no silly questions - there are several stations in Geneva and they should have specified which one! Hope someone who lives in Geneva is free to meet up with you, unfortunately I'm not there. Bon voyage!
