Not so close to airport (if walking is preferred)

Stayed for one night at the Crowne Plaza Geneva Airport. 375SFR (incl. breakfast). The hotel is not walking distance from the airport, so you need to take the free shuttle buss, running every 20 min. The hotel lacks personality and when you are there in the evening, there is really nothing else to do then to sit in your room. It is only recommended if you just want to sleep or need to be at the airport in a specific time.

The room is very clean, with nice touches, like chocolate (bar), waterbottle and some little sweets. There is couch build into the window, a nice feature. The flatscreen tv is very small, not too handy when laying in bed and watching tv. The bathroom is very large and clean. This is all based on the rooms in the new building.

Breakfast: Good choices, good quality. The only negative thing here is that the table setting does not give you a lot of privacy.

New trip to Geneva ... new...

New trip to Geneva ... new accomodation: the Crowne Plaza hotel close to the airport; not a lucky location if u wanna stroll around the downtown cause u always need to take a taxi or a bus.
But it is a nice hotel with a superb breakfast and a great restaurant service ... check more @ www.crowneplaza.com ... average rooms are ok but not so stunning.
They have great 'weekender' rates available.
