Have stayed here several times over they years. Good location, near top of the hill and business district, train station and cog train down to Ouchy and the lake. Good bathrooms and room sizes. Staff is efficient (but typical stiff German mentality). Lots of good restaurants nearby.

Unique Quality: as a 4 star hotel, it can be pricey, but if you stay here, ask for a room with a view because it's easily the best view in the city.

De La Paix is a truly 4-stars hotel offering a breathtaking view of the Lake Geneve and the Alps.
The rooms are large, light and well-equipped (A/C, direct dial phone, safe, cable TV, modem/dataport, minibar etc.). * excellent location

* fashionable restaurant
Hotel De La Paix, Lausanne
as a 4 star hotel, it can be pricey, but if you stay here, ask for a room with a view because it's easily the best view in the city.
