Hey everybody!
Can someone tell me what's nice to do in winter(coming in at the end of december for 2 to 3weeks)..??
and ofcourse according to the weather what can u recommend me?

Travel Tips for Lausanne
Vieille (and majestic) Ville

In the old town or Vieille Ville you will find lots of examples of architecture from centuries XII-XVII, which gives this area a medieval air and makes you forget for a moment that we are currently living in the third millenium!! My personal favorites were the Chateau St. Maire, Hotel de Ville, the Museum of Calvino and the Fountain de la Palud. It's only some walk away!!
Before starting, I would recommend to have a map and a guide of the city, so you can arrange your own schedule of visits according to your own interests. The flowers everywhere gives Lausanne a touch of color, freshness and charm, which gives them the romantic spark to this town apparently struck in the past.
Fete de la Cite

This cultural festival has become something of an institution in Lausanne. Few are those who don't go and watch a show, listen to a concert or just go and have a drink with friends during the week in July of the Festival de la Cite.
This festival presents performances of all sorts, from dancing, to theatre, to music in the narrow streets of the old town. There is no entry free and the festival subsusts thanks to the sale of T-shirts and other gadgets.
Saturday night out

Went to watch local derby - ice hockey - Lausanne v Fribourg Gotteron in top Swiss league. Absolutely superb. Arena virtually full with 8,000 bodies. Incredible atmosphere with non stop singing and chanting from both teams' fans. Home team won at last gasp, in a game which could have gone either way. Cash - tickets very expensive.
Unforgettable sweetshop

Mojonnier is renown to make the best pastries and sweets..... people come from pretty faraway just to buy cakes, cookies, and all sorts of desserts, especially chocolate desserts.
So, if you are into sweets, do not miss Mojonnier. You have two options:
1. go to the brand new shop they just opened in the center at 1, Rue Cheneau-de-Bourg, where they also have a tea-room upstairs where you can sit and eat your dessert.
2. jump into the bus number 7 towards Renens, get off at Pont de Chailly and walk 50m to yur right; Mojonnier is right there!
Try the fruit mousses, the chocolate desserts, and truffles. Trust me you won't regret it =)
From Port d’Ouchy we took day...

From Port d’Ouchy we took day trip to Evian, a nice French town across the lake, famous for its mineral water (it takes less then an hour to cross the lake in a boat).
