Sort of a clean dump, but it is right on the lake.
Stayed here a couple of times when I was tired of not being near the lake. This hotel is supposedly family run (it think that includes anyone who is a friend, student friend or out of work at the time". Rooms are decent size, just old, poor ventilation halls are dark and stairways are narrow. Service is poor to just OK.
Is very pricey in the summer for its quality level.
Unique Quality: The location is great. You walk across the road to the lake and harbor and beaches. It is a few minutes walk to the passenger ferries that travel across the lake to Geneva and Evian. You can catch the tram up the hill to downtown Lausanne just down the street.
