The first hotel we stayed in was the Hotel du Port. As the name suggests, it was located right on Lake Geneva in the area called Ouchy. The only two rooms available for the three of us were a Double Room with lake view, and a Junior Suite with lake view - so my MIL got the double, and we got the suite.
The suite wasn't anything amazing, though did have a separate seating area, a large bed and two televisions. The bathroom was nice and everything was clean and in good condition. There was no air conditioning, but a large fan was provided. The double room was also a nice size and in good condition. Both rooms had nice views of Lake Geneva.
Breakfast was simple buffet style but more than adequate. We were slightly put off by the small birds that kept flying into the dining room and sitting on top of the bread and croissants, pecking away - I guess more a problem in summer with the large French doors open.
