Ranch "El Capio": Fun at budget price

The owner Jimmy Georges is both: a typical big-mouthed mountain bloke, and a seasoned globetrotter. Tasty local food and drink, hospitality and
a good night's sleep at the dormitory are guaranteed. The bed comes at CHF 20/night, or CHF 42 half-board (dinner and breakfast included). Easy access from the motorway, a little further away from the railway station. But Jimmy promises to pick you up at the station, if you give some advance notice

A great deal (Switzerland does not have to be expensive) and people that are familiar with the surrounding splendid mountain world.

Hotel-Pension BEAU SITE in Chemin-Dessus: Meditation in peaceful mountain world

A picturesque, historic place in a most peaceful mountain site, listed by the Swiss Patrimony Association. The new owner, a former 68 generation activist, has himself renovated the place and redone the woodwork. What are his guests doing the whole day? Nothing, is his reply. Just meditating, enjoying the silence, the library, the (mostly vegetarian) food.

The absemce of any stress situation, the silence, the nature. And still near to all the amenities of modern life.
