how do I get to Engelberg?

I´ll be in Zurich for a couple of days, and I just want to know how do I get to Engelberg from the main station of Zurich????

Wich metro line should I take??

Hï!I took the train from Zürich Mainstation to Lucerne then transfer from Lucerne to Engelberg.Check out this website www.sbb.ch/en

Maybe you're confused with the Uetliberg, which is Zürich's "house mountain", and which can be reached with the S-Bahn (you need line S10 in this case). The S-Bahn is what Zürich has in stead of a Metro.

Engelberg is a town in canton Obwalden, about two hours from Zürich.

"Hidden city in the swiss alps"

You first ride up on an old train that takes you through the Swiss alps. There are wonderful views. The town itself is very small and walking around is no problem at all. I recommend staying the night at one of the hotels here so you can get acquainted with the elevation rise. You must go up on MT. Tilis on the cable car. And take the ice flyer once you are up. Than on the way down ride the bike they offer. Riding the bike was one of my favorite parts of my whole trip.
