Muttenz, church
by MyndoIt is located not in Basel itself, but in Muttenz, that is a village outside of Basel.
Actually this is not a big minus, since you have the tram very close by - and with the tram (No 14) you are in 15 minutes at the Barfuesserplace and in 20 minutes at the Messeplatz.
Also -if you care- Muttenz is a very nice village where you can see many historical buildings: eg. the fortified church. Also there are three castles (ok, the ruins of them) on the Wartenberg, the hill right behind Muttenz.

The Hotel has three stars ***
43 rooms, 4 suites and 4 flats for long time residents.
The rooms look at the Wartenberg (quite green) with its castles.
In the parterre you have a bar and a restaurant.
Next to the hotel is a big Coop (shopping centre) with everything you may need: also a pharmacy and an ATM.
They also have a Fitness Room and enough parking space in the garage under the building.
