A nice experience
We stayed in a double room with bath, wc, tv, phone, minibar etc. The hotel has its own restaurant and bar. Room and laundry service available. Friendly and helpful staff. Ideal location, just a minute from the Swiss railway station and the tram lines. 'Old' traditional appearance of the hotel.
Price for a double room was 170 CHF = 147 $
There's a little bar area and it seemed to be one of these traditional hotels where people go "to be seen", even though they do not stay overnight at the hotel and just live in Basel.
