like in medias res: the Radisson
I was never there overnight, only for some of my continued education courses that they do in their big rooms in the parterre.
But I know some who stayed there and they were all happy with it. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The view might not be so greta, but how long do you stay in your hotel room anyway- if there is Basel right in front of your door?
The hotel has 205 modern rooms, including six spacious Junior suites, an Antique suite and a duplex suite (maisonette).
Unique Quality: The Radisson is In the center of things. located at the Heuwaage, which is in the Theater and Cinemas district, with many restaurants and shopping opportunities close by.
They have a good Lobby Bar (see picture):
between 5 pm and 7 pm they have happy hour with every drink for half price.
In the Restaurant Steinenpick (inside) they have Special Events in every saison. Things like wild season or mushrooms or whiskynight or "murder mystery dinner"
