Our 5 day stay in Adelboden co-coincided well with a village festival on the Friday. Simply a fun time for adults and children alike as roads were closed off to traffic, children could play games and there was food galore with bratwurst, pasta and raclette (molten cheese slapped on bread) were the order of the day. We had a grandstand view from our hotel balcony which overlooked the square but we did mingle and joined the fun in the crowds too.
i have been to switzerland three times now and still love it. everytime i have went i have stayed in adelboden . i think the region is beautiful and would recomment it to everybody there is a bus service in town and a very good taxi service as well this is a view of adelboden
