Tracshel 1: Large group accomdation

We took a large party of children. There were 77 of us and we travelled with Jeka, who are a Belgian company specialising in youth group travel.

The chalet we stayed in was called Tracshel one and was very good. The only trouble is that if you take a large, mixed sex party, you may have problems with room allocation.

Great views of the waterfall, mountains and glaciers.

the stay was lovely the accomodation was basically dorms with the lads being on the top floor of a 3 floor building. the service of the staff was out of this world and amphill space for running about in the food was plentifull i would reccommend this kind off accommodation to other large groups of people

Hotel Beau-Site: An excellent hotel

The hotel is relatively quiet located, only a few steps from the bus stop and the village centre. The room was large, equipped with everything you expect in a four-star hotel. Service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast buffet was wonderful. Dinner was five-course with choices for main course and dessert. International food, but unfortunately not special events like a gala dinner evening or a buffet evening (which I would expect in a four-star hotel).

The rate was a bargain, booked through Ameropa: 320 Euro per week and person incl. half-board.

Amazing views! From the balcony as well as from the dining room.

Hotel Hari: Christian traditional hotel

Quiet, traditional, at the fringes of the village with beautiful view over the valley. Some families and many 50+ people. Very friendly staff. Old and modern rooms with varying facilities and comfort (and prices), very clean. Breakfeast buffet and menus at lunch and dinner, no restaurant service (many restaurants within walking distance). No bar or service after 21h (self-service possible, but no alcoholics), but many places to sit and talk or read or play games. Some games, pingpong table, but no exciting entertainment for young people within the hotel. Facilities for groups.

Was the first hotel in Adelboden and still in the same family, Christian tradition cultivated since 125 years, includes daily service in the evening.
