Good value hostel

Very friendly staff and clean showers and rooms. You get a 'cubicle' instead of a dorm, in that the bunks are partitioned by a thin wall. This does the job in terms of modesty, but you can hear everything you would if the wall wasn't there - not much fun if a group of annoying girls comes barging into the cubicle next to you after you've gone to bed. You also get a handy sink opposite your cubicle.

Breakfast is extra (7CHF I think) but fine and the restaurant attached is handy and good quality, but a little over priced and fairly snotty service.

Excellent location for exploring and right next to the bear pits, so you can go say hello in the morning. Overall good value for money and reccommended for short stays.

A: "You're right, I've searched on-line and can't find reviews of this hotel. It's also not listed on VT. Sometimes "no review" is a good thing. A lot of the reviews out..."
