A short walk from the station and to the shopping area, the hotel is quaint n very european. wat i didnt like was that it seems one from the past. d room size is ok n cleanliness is maintained yet there is something depresssing about the rooms.
I didn't stay here but this Hotel looked nice from the outside. It is about a 3 minute walk from Ost Interlaken Train station. Staying anywhere in Interlaken will be a great stay. Who stays in the hotel anyway?

Well sitated in the quiet area of Interlaken, but still next to the centre, Hotel Goldey is a nice place to relax. But more for honeymooners, and not really something for backpackers. Much too expensive, with luxury you actually don't need to get knowing the area etc. The view over river with the mountains (Jungfrau) in the background is breathtaking.
You can go to the Sauna and also get some massages.

Can anyone tell me if Hotel Interlaken is good? I am looking for a good 4 or 5 star hotel in the central area of Interlaken. My travel agent has suggested this one. Kindly let me know.

There is a website called tripadvisor, they have reviews on thousands of Hotels all over the world, I,d look at that.Mind you I have stayed at Hotels that I considered faultless, yet some people post negatives, so you need to weigh up the various comments. If a lot of people found a place dirty for example, I wouldn,t go there, but Swiss hotels are clean so that won,t be an issue.
