Panoramaweg
"Map of the Hike"
The panoramaweg can be reached from the Strelapass area or Gotschnagrat and walked in either direction. Ideally the hike can be broken up by the bergbahn transport system and spread over two days to enjoy the glorious scenery.
To begin the hike the funicular is taken to Schatzalp.
Then the cable-car to the Strela Pass at 7,500ft .
Now we can start the panoramaweg to the Parsen. The Parsen funicular adds a splash of colour against the green meadows and snow patches.
Magnificent views of the Davos Valley and across to the Jakobshorn can be admired for most parts of this easy level hike.
Continue over alpine meadows to the Parsenhutte, enjoying many alpine flowers on the way, and then finally to Gotschmagrat - here you can take the cable-car down to the expensive fashionable resort of Klosters and then catch the train back to Davos.
