SAINT MORITZ - Place serving good local food (specialities) ???

by loislois

We will be there at the end of July and we wonder if we can find a restaurant or tavern serving traditional Swiss foods p.e. locat dried meats, cheese, fondie, roestie, etc

We love Swiss specialities and want to enjoy it at their original place.

Will be happy to have an answer :)

Thank you dear Swis33 for both of your answers to me.

I will be in the area by car so that will be easy to go to Sils or anywhere in Engadine valley. Definitely agree with you the good local tastes can be found in small taverns of the area, not at the central point (St Moritz)

Thanks again !

If you do not have your own equipment, there are several places to rent it. And also to storage during the night.

I rent the sky on the same mountain. The advantage it is that i do not have to carry the sky to other places, the only thing that it is more expensive

Piz Nair mountain -video tour

by StuartDutchman

Piz Nair (3057m) is the highest skiable mountain in the region. It is located above St. Moritz in the Albula Range, accessible by aerial cable car from Corviglia.

The Piz Nair Wall was the start of the men's downhill in the 2003 World Championship with a 100% drop results in an acceleration from 0 to 130km/h in 7 seconds.

St Moritz by night

by mvtouring

Finally, the snow arrived. I was so happy I could just lie in it and get a cold! It was the most wonderful thing to have happened, you people must remember we hardly ever see snow here by us. Don't you think it is just the prettiest site you have ever seen?
