The charm of the village
by mvtouring
Although the Winter Olympics were held here twice... once in 1928 and in 1948 the charm of the village to me was in the architecture. There are fineculars and cable railways left over from the Olympics to enjoy, but do walk around and look at the beautiful places that were built here.
St moritz

"Very beautiful place, hiking up close to the sky"
I took seven hours train from Zermatt to St moritz, (san Murezzan in Romansch) where the wealthy come to enjoy their riches. I spent two nights in this small site (pop 5600-elevation 1856m) visitors can enjoy a huge variety of winter and summer sports. Skiing, hiking. I liked their food too. I left St Moritz by train as I first came to it but I used different way leaving to Chur, Zurich, to Geneva. Where I spent one night, before I start a new trip to Bern the pretty capital city.
