We had a lovely room with double aspect so the views were stunning. breakfast was no less than a grand affair with absolutely everything on offer.
The hotel is furnished with some gorgeous antiques as well as modern furniture. Grand dining room was indeed, grand. Suvretta House boasts so many architectural features it's hard to name just one.
The spa was the best I have EVER encountered and even out shines some of the top Onsens in Japan. I was however, taken aback when I found out that the most of the sauna and plunge pool areas were coed. I found out the naked way! Yes, everyone was naked so if you are concerned about flashing or being flashed stick to the designated areas (or keep your towel handy) and to be honest, those "Designated Areas" aren't completely safe as I noticed the male staff don't mind barging in.
