Curling

All sorts of ice sports are very popular in Switzerland. And Curling is one of the most frequently played. You need a bunch of people for it, but will not have problems to join some others for a match.

The ice rink "Trü" is located in the upper village of Scuol. In the evenings it is illuminated. Admittance fee is 5 or 6 Sfr, but it is included in the ski pass.

By the way, watching is also fun, and does not cost anything! You can even sit on the second floor in the restaurant, have a pizza or sip on a glass of wine and enjoy. Rental station next to the rink.

Scuol is well-known as a spa town and for winter sports, and is the capital of the Lower Engadin Valley. Its old quarter consists of typical Engadin houses, and the road through it runs down to an old wooden roofed bridge over the River Inn. Scuol's church stand high above the river.
