After reading some reviews on this hotel (which by the way were really hard to find), I was somewhat worried as to what we would discover. What we found was a nice, clean hotel with friendly staff, and a decent sized room. It was adequate for two adults who just wanted a nice clean place to stay in Old Town Lucerne. It really was in the center of everything within the area. The Lion Monument and Glacier Garden were just a 10 min walk away, Capelle Bruecke was about a 5 min walk, and the Spreuer Bruecke was about 10 mins. Anyways, the room was small (not as small as a couple of others we stayed at on this trip), but clean. There is a lift, so no hauling luggage up the steps. They'll provide you with maps and a couple of discount cards for some restaurants, including the Chinese/Thai restaurant that is on site. We ate at their restaurant and the food was quite yummy. If the opportunity came up, I would certainly stay there again, if my budget doesn't allow for 4+ star accommodations.
