a romantic place to stay
This lovely hotel next to Hofkirche would be my favorite place to stay, if I would be searching for a romantic spot to spend a few days, and for a honey-moon it really would be perfect in many ways. I applied to work there many years ago and still remember the lovely interior, unfortunately they gave the job to someone else.
Look at this lovely building with the great half-timbered facades, that building dates back to the year 1670 ! And when you get out of the hotel you get the feeling to be inside a small village and not in a big city : scenic halftimbered houses, almost no cars...
Unique Quality: Hotel Hofgarten has a scenic garden-restaurant that is totally hidden behind a high stone-wall from 3 sides and by the hotel from the other side. trafic is very low in that area anyway, so that makes a really perfect place to stay !
