Old house funked-up
The youth hostel in Solothurn is in an older building which has been hollowed out. The interior was rebuilt in a modern fashion which gives the house a special blend of old and new.
It's located by the Aare river and near most of Solothurn's nightlife. Right next to it you find the Aare bar and Kreuz restaurant.
There are different types of rooms, from dorms to single rooms, bed linen is provided. The kitchen is pretty good as well and during the Solothurn film festival they offer Indian specialities.
Unique Quality: Great location near the river and most of Solothurn's bars. Special blend of old building and modern interior.
