A quiet location in middle of town.
A truly hospitable hotel, in a quiet location, yet accessible to the Railawy station, the business area of kloten, also with a shuttle bus to and from the airport.
Service in all departments was good to very good. Reception, restaurant and breakfast buffet were good. The bedroom was clean and well looked after.
A great place to stay. I would recommend it for travellers staying a night.
Unique Quality: The view was across the town to the hills to the north. No buildings in front to spoil the view.
I enjoyed the meal at the Kanzlei restuarant, leisurely paced, great service and a good choice on the menu.

"We" are other VT members just like you, we do not have a hotel! If you google welcome inn hotel kloten you will get a map, showing that it is close to Kloten station. I assume you know how you are travelling from Salzburg to Kloten and that you would be changing at Zurich HB to the S7 to Winterthur (from platform 21/22 - travelling 5 stops, Kloten is the one after Kloten Balsberg which is after Opfikon). Of course you have to specify the name of the station when you buy your ticket in the first place.
