Hotel Arlette
by NemorinoIt is quite close to the main railway station, and is reasonably priced. I paid 110 Swiss Francs for a single room with breakfast, which is EUR 70.67 or $85.64 (that's American dollars, not Australian).
The rooms are air conditioned, which I suppose is a good feature if you happen to be in Zürich on one of the few hot days of the year.
They have "Pay TV" that you don't have to pay for. This is quite unusual, but I can't imagine just sitting around in a hotel room and watching television, when so much else is going on in Zürich.
To sum up: If you've seen one hotel, you've seen them all.
