Clean hotel for a good price
The Hotel Coronado is located about 10-12 minutes ride with the tram from the Zürich city center. Me and my friends went there as we were on our way to Liechtenstein to see Liechtenstein-Sweden in a Euro 2008-qualifier.
We had a triple room, which wasn't the biggest ever, but definately bigger than other rooms I've seen (specially in Italy and England), with a minibar, small tv and a quite big bathroom.
The service and the welcome from the staff were okay. Nothing special, but we felt well treated. Breakfast was very good, and included in the price. One of the best hotel breakfasts I've had in Europe.
The location is a bit outside the real center, but I never felt it was that far. 75 meters from the hotel there is a tram station, with three different lines taking you directly in to the train station.
Close to the hotel are also 3-4 restaurants, plus the one at the hotel, so one really doesn't have to go into the center in the evenings.
The worst thing happened during our last night in Zürich, as the street workers thought it was a bright idea to build a new street at midnight. And then continue to do so until 5am... Didn't get one second of sleep until then, and then we had to get up two hours later to go to the airport...

Zurich's Little Hotel
We stayed here for 2 nights during mid week of October07. Check-In is at 14:00. The hotel is located just around 8-10 mins away from Zurich Main Station. We travelled to hotel by Tram #14 and got down at Milchbuck stop. We had no difficulty in finding the Hotel as it is just in front of the Milchbuck stop. The receptionist spoke English and was friendly. The Hotel room was clean. Thro the Bedroom window we could see the Tram Stop. My friends had breakfast in the hotel and they found it good(15CHF). Though overall the hotel stay was pleasant we found the hotel room and bathroom very small. We would recommend this hotel if you are just looking for stay. It is cheap and perfect if we just want to spend the night and take rest.
Unique Quality: Since hotel is very small one, no Pool was there. Hotel room included MiniBar for which we need to pay extra if we use it.

Minotel Coronado
My stay was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful. They told us the easiest way to get around the city using the trams. The rooms were clean and very comfortable.
Unique Quality: Rooms are airconditioned, all have TVs, and phones. Clean ensuite bathrooms.
