A Very Basic Hotel On the Cheap
I wanted a cheap place to stay while in Zurich and settled on this place. The Etap is owned by the same chain that owns Ibis and Novetel and sits next door, adjoined really, to those two hotels.
Unique Quality: The rooms are very basic with just a bed, cable TV, a chair and a cubicale style washroom. The big plus is that everything was well maintained and clean. The staff here was actually friendly so that was helpful as I was expecting the coldness that was indictive of the rooms.
