Good clean, simple accomodations and good location
Front staff great, very helpful and knowledgeable. Room was simple and clean. Balcony and viewing chair provided, nice view. Continental breakfasts consisted of bread, cereal, juice, meat and cheese. Only complaint - the teeny tiny shower stall (2' x 2'). I was either accidentally freezing myself or shutting off the water completely whenever I moved about.
My flight left before the trams were running. The front desk offered a shuttle for only $19 CHF that picked me up promptly at 5:30AM. I was able to bill the shuttle cost to my room. A great convenience when trying to rid myself of francs before my departure not to mention the cost savings over a taxi.
Location is very convenient. One minute walk to Goldbrunnenplatz tram stop. Across the street from the stop are a small deli, post office drop box, phone/Email stand and vending machines.
Would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Can get rates on website but mine were cheaper since I purchased as a package deal through OctopusTravel.com
Unique Quality: Half of a Corvette is affixed to the front of the building. Imagine other hotels don't have this touch of architecture.
