Very convenient location, being about 5 minutes walk from the railway station, just off Neiderdorf, where there are lots of cafes, restaurants, bars, takeaways and tiny cobbled streets which are great to explore.
The Hotel had its own Italian restaurant called Tagliatelle, although we never actually ate there. Well in fact we did but it was for breakfast, which was also the hotel dining room.
Breakfast was the usual buffet type including, cereals, bread, jams, eggs, cheese, ham, prunes, fruit, juices, milk, tea, coffee and chocolate. It was quite a nice breakfast though, in a very relaxed atmosphere.
The bedrooms had recently been refurbished, but whoever did it did not have comfort in mind. The bed was rock hard, as were the pillows!!!
We were also woken up at 3am in the early hours of Sunday morning, when the fire alarm was ringing! Dashing to throw our clothes on and getting on the landing, to be met by some other people, we were about to rush down the stairs when the on duty manager came to tell us that a man in a room on our landing had been smoking in a non smoking room and had set the fire alarms off, and that the fire/police were now talking to him!!!
What with the bed and alarm bells ringing, neither were condusive to a good nights sleep!
Sorry I completely forgot in my 'lack of sleep' daze to take a pic of the hotel, so I 'borrowed' one!!!
